Q. What is the cost of services?

A. Client rates are specific to the individual, and based on the Service Plan developed. Many variables will determine the cost of services, including the length of the shift, complexity of care, skills required, medical or non-medical status, number of people needing care. An in-home assessment is required to accurately assess the services required and establish a rate.

Q. What is included in the rate billed by us for services?

A. Our rates include the cost of employee’s wages, federal, state and local employment taxes, social security taxes, worker’s compensation insurance, bonding and professional liability insurance. Clients are sent a detailed invoice twice each month which means they have no responsibility to pay the Caregiver directly.

Q. How do we determine which kinds of services a client needs?

A. We provide one FREE, no obligation In-Home Assessment for all potential clients. A member of the office staff will ask the Client or their representative a series of questions to fully understand the Client's needs and to develop a specific Service Plan of Care. The staff member will then conduct a care conference with the office Administrative Staff. At this time, the caregiver team will be selected. Should a nursing assessment be required, this will be scheduled and the RN will then collaborate with the client’s family, physician, home health, hospice or other applicable agencies to ensure a comprehensive plan is in place. All signed documents will be maintained confidentially in a locked, fireproof safe in the office. A Client Binder will be created and will be updated as the Clients needs change. Caregivers will reference the binder for emergency instructions, current information and will chart and complete all forms contained in the binder as directed by the office or RN.
